Intro. (to be continued)

Hey, wait a minute... I have a blog. I'd forgotten all about it. People have been telling me that I ought to keep one for quite a while. OK, only two people really told me that, and they didn't give me any impression that they would actually read my blog if I started keeping one, but these are minor details and I'm taking them up on it. Starting today, I am going to use this as my personal repository for rants, raves, anecdotes and anxieties... and maybe some random thoughts.
